These have been rebuilt from the ground up, following classic Balinese designs by the late Jaya Ibrahim. The three-bedroom Imperial Villa has an impressive 1300-square-me- tre layout, more than double the original villa’s footprint. A thatched-roof verandah leads to a rooftop garden and lawn skirted by an infinity-edged water feature. This area is being marketed as appropriate for intimate wed- dings, celebrations and dining under the stars. The two-bedroom Royal Villa has a separate children’s room with trundle beds and is connect- ed to a deluxe villa if needed (say for a bigger group). The Imperial and Royal villas are set in tropical gardens and offer ocean views from almost every vantage point. They are expected to be in heavy demand for weddings as well as friends travelling together or fam- ilies looking for a top-end accom- modation opportunity. To complement the refreshed facilities, Four Seasons Resorts Bali has launched what general man- ager Uday Rao describes as “new destination-inspired experiences to celebrate all that Bali offers from art and culture to natural landscapes, traditional healing and world-class dining”. The two-bedroom Royal Villa has a separate children’s room with trundle beds and is connected to a deluxe villa if more rooms are needed.
