AirCArgo AsiA-PACifiC • JUNE-JULY 2015 • Page 27 New web site for Qatar Airways Cargo QATAR Airways Cargo has launched its new-look web site showcasing a track and trace application that will offer customers real-time informa- tion regarding their shipments, which can be traced online and via Android and Apple phones and tablets. The upgrade includes a revamped home page with access to flight schedules, the ability to check the routing of their air freight and book charter services plus streamlined menus and simple navigation. Ulrich Ogiermann, Qatar Airways chief officer cargo said: “ The new web site has been designed with our customers in mind and reflects their day to day requirements using tech- nology to improve the integration of the website with mobile devices to deliver a website that is truly user friendly. “We will continually be expanding our on line content to provide custom- ers with relevant information about Qatar Airways Cargo’s products and services, and we plan to further enhance the web site by adding interactive route maps and other tools.” The web site builds upon Quick Re- sponse Code technology to improve the user experience on mobile devices by integrating with phone and naviga- tion applications. New features also include revamped product pages, career opportunities, video features, social media tools and a media room.
