Later stages could include an art hotel, educational facilities, residential accommodation and further food and beverage outlets, along with other ele- ments envisaged in the ARM/Topotek1 proposal. The winning proposal is outlined on ARM’s website. The company has extensive experience in major urban projects. This follows an Audit Office report that found that while preparations were pro- gressing, there was no single source of ac- countability or authority for whole of Games management. A tourism and Commonwealth Games cabinet committee has been set up, along with an Office of Commonwealth Games Delivery. These will support GOLDOC, the corporation working on Games preparation.
